Round Three: FIGHT!

It's time to see what the random number generator system predicts. Just like in the first round and second round, I've used the power of random.org to select the series winner and how many games to expect the series to go to. At the very end are my own picks.

Eastern Conference

(7) Philadelphia vs. (8) Montreal: Montreal in 6.
Andrei Markov will return and score at least one goal. Montreal's "Got Jaroslav?" playoff campaign continnues as Spacek proves clutch and Halak is fantastic again. Danny Briere outshines Simon Gagne. There's no reason not to bet on Montreal in this series.
Bonus: Marc-Andre Bergeron will have a +/- above even in this series. He is currently -10 in the playoffs.

Western Conference

(1) San Jose vs. (2) Chicago: San Jose in 7.
This is simple. Chicago has one player drafted by the Ottawa Senators. San Jose has zero. By hockey god law, this means San Jose will win this series. Joe Thornton shakes the choker label once and for all for this season only. Antti Niemi will outplay Evgeni Nabokov but still lose the series.
Bonus: Patrick Sharp leads the Blackhawks in points for the series.

My own predictions: Montreal in 7, Chicago in 6.

Recap of the first two rounds coming soon.
